Why I Love This Pumpkin Spice Syrup
First and foremost, this recipe uses Your Super Foods powders, which if you've been reading my blog for a while - you know I love their products! By using plant collagen and golden mellow, I was able to get a yummy spicey base flavor. Adding a chai tea bag also helped put the spice in this pumpkin spice syrup.
If you have never made your own pumpkin spice syrup, you are in for a treat with this recipe!
Creating A Pumpkin Spiced Latte
For a real treat, mix 4 oz of coffee with 2 Tablespoons of this syrup. Add in plant collagen & golden mellow and give it all a good mix. Using a milk frother to mix it all together, using a frother ensures the coffee, syrup, and powders are all mixed well.
If you try the latte recipe, and you find you want more pumpkin, add 1 teaspoon of pumpkin to your latte until you have enough flavor. Prefer more spice? Try adding in more golden mellow or a cinnamon stick!
If you prefer, top your latte with whipped cream - you can easily make your own whipped cream at home. Continue reading for a bonus homemade whipped cream recipe.

Bonus Recipe: Homemade Whipped Cream
Recently, I had some extra whipping cream in the house and didn't know what to do with it. It was a Saturday morning and I really wanted an indulgent hot cocoa with all the fixins. I'm talking about marshmallows, whipped cream, and a sprinkle of cocoa on top! Below is the recipe I used to make the best-whipped cream ever!
Homemade Whipped Cream
In a mixing bowl, add 1 cup heavy whipping cream and 1 teaspoon homemade Kahlua (sub for vanilla extract)
Using a hand mixer, mix until stiff peaks form - that's it! Once it looks like whipped cream, you are good to go!
I recommend making your hot cocoa first, getting it nice and hot, then whipping the cream
