I Made The Viral Chicken Bread And I Love It

Text: Chicken Bread with a photo of chicken bread

Why I Love Chicken Bread

When I first heard "chicken bread" I really wondered what this was. I researched a few versions and decided to try to make it myself. I was shocked when I pulled the pan out of the oven and it was bread!

With only 5 ingredients, this bread packs a protein punch. A single piece of this bread has 14g of protein.

This week's post is all about the viral chicken bread that went around recently. You'll learn what I would do differently next time if you keep reading.

How I Would Make Chicken Bread Next Time

Having only made chicken bread once, I have some notes about what I would do differently next time. Read my notes below to see how I would make chicken bread differently.

  • Add cheese & garlic powder instead of everything and more seasoning - I would fold in the cheese to the dough, as well as a little cheese on top before baking. The garlic powder would be added in at the blending stage.

  • Instead of everything and more, I would add raisins, cinnamon, and sugar for a take on cinnamon raisin bread.

  • I would try to use the chicken bread as croutons or french toast - I'd love to explore all the different ways I could save carbs with this bread!

How would you make or use chicken bread?
