Inspiration For This Shopping In Central Denver Shopping Guide

When I first came up with my idea for a series on shopping around the Denver area. I thought it would be short and sweet. A few posts with 2-3 shops and I'd be done.

Well, I was very wrong. This is my first of 6 posts regarding shopping in and around Denver. Originally, I was just going to share sustainable and refill shops. I've lived here for seven years, and there are so many stores I've never shopped at. I'm definitely not a shop-till-you-drop person; rather, I'm a shop-and-see-what-they-offer person.

In 2025, I decided to take days off work to explore the stores I've heard people talk about, but I've never visited. It was a fun adventure! My field trips took me as far north as Windsor and as far south as Littleton.

Angie's Favorite Shops In Central Denver

  • Joy Fill – 4340 W. 35th Ave., Denver

    • Parking: Street parking (parallel parking), in a neighborhood area, I've not had an issue parking

    • What's Available: Sustainable goods, refills (shampoos, soaps, essential oils, laundry, and more), dried tea

    • Why I Like This Shop: This medium-sized refillery offers so many items. Whether I need a refill or another swedish sponge, they have me covered!

  • Nude Foods Market – 3538 W. 44th Ave., Denver

    • Parking: Very small lot with parking spaces (maybe 5 parking spots)

    • What's Available: Pretty much any kitchen food item, from produce to spices to snacks. A small sustainable product section as well as a few refillable items. The majority of items are sold in glass jars. Check out their site for all the details.

    • Why I Like This Shop: Tiny but mighty! A very small footprint compared to a typical grocery store. Takes a while to peruse the aisles to see everything they sell. Relatively easy to shop, and since everything is packaged in a glass jar with a simple label, it feels less intense.

Mapping Out The Shops

Re-Visting Central Denver Shops

If you are a regular reader of my blog, some of these stores may look familiar. Even though I may have featured them before, I decided to revisit and include them in my shopping guide series.

Check out my other series on sustainability, where I mention some Denver-area sustainable stores!
