You'll Enjoy This Terrific Banana Split, So Good It Should Be Outlawed

Text: healthy banana split and a beautiful banana split

Why I Love This Banana Split

A healthy banana split? Say no more! If you haven't noticed by now, I like desserts. Even though I may limit my desserts when doing the Your Super detox, I still enjoy a sweet treat.

Something that makes me love a recipe is the ease of creating it. For example, this split takes just a few minutes to assemble, and I can have my sweet tooth satisfied.

When I mix the berries with Forever Beautiful, it creates a "jam-like" consistency and reminds me of eating a sinful banana split at Dairy Queen.

If you are like me and enjoy toppings and banana splits, keep reading to be inspired for your split.

How To Top Your Banana Split

For me, the toppings for a banana split are key. Some of these toppings will not be Your Super detox-friendly, and others will be. Enjoy this treat anytime!

Angie's Favorite Split Toppings

  • Chocolate sauce (not detox friendly)

  • Chopped nuts of choice - I like hazelnuts

  • Cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, or nutmeg

  • Caramel Sauce (not detox friendly)

  • Cherries (not from a jar)

  • Date syrup (soak dates in warm water for at least 10 minutes, then blend with the water until smooth)

  • Try toasting your coconut flakes using a kitchen torch

How will you top your split - from chocolate to nuts, tag me on Instagram and let me know! Above all, make it your own!
