Why I Like These Social Media Powerhouses

The accounts I follow are very informative. They post on a regular cadence, every time I watch a video I learn something new and I've been following them for years.

Best Social Media Account For Gardening

  • Audrey's Little Farm - YouTube - covers mostly zone 9 gardening tips, but she does have many videos that are not zone-specific. Things like composting, raising chickens, etc. Every year she hosts a spring gardening summit, and she offers a membership that is very well organized.

Best Social Media Account For Canning

  • Suttons Daze - YouTube - offers many canning videos, instruction, and most importantly safe canning recipes. She hosts Canuary (in January) and Make It March (in March). Check her YouTube playlists to watch previous years' events. Her videos are focused around pantry preparedness and she is a wealth of information!

Best Social Media Account For Fermenting

  • The Fermented Homestead - YouTube - the name gives it away - mostly focused on fermenting. She has some canning videos and general homesteading videos too. Her energy is high and she used to host Fermented February. Check out the old Fermented February playlists on her YouTube.

While my list is short, these are by far my favorites! Who do you follow on social media and why? Let me know in the comments below.
