
Why I Love This Easy Chocolate Bark
My easy chocolate bark has minimal ingredients, and by using my cocoa powder, you get a few different superfoods! There's something special about enjoying a cold piece of chocolate on a hot day. When you know you can name each ingredient in it, the chocolate suddenly tastes better!
This chocolate bark can be made using 1 container and a sheet pan. Minimal dishes, sign me up! I prefer to melt the coconut oil in a 2-cup measuring cup, add my ingredients (not toppings) to the container, and mix. After that, I can pour the chocolate onto a parchment-lined sheet pan.
Finally, being able to get creative with the toppings makes this a family-friendly fun recipe.
What Toppings Can You Use For Easy Chocolate Bark?
Maybe you are like me and prefer a little crunch in your chocolate. While nuts provide crunch, I like to think outside of the nut drawer for this one. Think of chia seeds, cocoa nibs, sunflower or pumpkin seeds, and crisp rice cereal.
On the other hand, if you'd like to have a little chew on the chocolate, I have options for that as well! Dried fruits such as raisins, berries, cherries, and even pineapple can be sprinkled right on top.

It's important to note that the chocolate needs to be more thick than thin. If the chocolate is too thin, it will melt quickly, not break well, and will not hold toppings. As you pour the chocolate on the parchment paper, it will spread out on its own. If it looks a little thick, you can move the pan around to spread it more. Should the chocolate be too thin, you may need a smaller pan.
If the chocolate is too thin, before adding any toppings, simply let the chocolate set in the freezer. After it sets, put the chocolate back in the measuring cup and melt. After melting, place on the sheet pan (maybe a smaller one!) and you should be good to add toppings.
