You Need To Try This 2 Ingredient Cashew Milk

Why I Love This Cashew Milk


When I tried my 2 ingredient cashew milk for the first time, I knew I would never go back to store-bought. I've wanted to try making my milk for years, and I always thought it was too hard. With only 2 ingredients and about 3 minutes of effort, this is one of my easiest recipes.


I instantly knew this would be a new favorite for me. My main goal was to make milk that would froth well. Sadly, I didn't find that this milk frothed as great as I expected. Using only 2 cups of water to 1 cup of nuts did produce more froth than when I made it with 6 cups of water. However, I found 6 cups to be too watery for me. The search continues for a plant-based milk that froths!




How Does This 2 Ingredient Cashew Milk Compare To Store Bought?


At first glance, it appears that these cashew milks are very similar. But, if you look at the individual rows, you will see differences. Depending on your diet and what you are looking for in your milk, will determine which one is best for you.


For me, I'm concerned about the ingredients in the milk and keeping them to a minimum. Even though I love the convenience and shelf life of store-bought milk, creating a few batches of cashew milk a week isn't a big deal for me.

Flavor Your 2 Ingredient Cashew Milk


Now, if you'd like to add some flavor to your milk, I have some suggestions below:


  • Cinnamon

  • Cocoa Powder

  • Vanilla

  • Strawberries

  • Espresso

  • Banana

  • Try a nut blend - 1/2 cashews and 1/2 of another nut

  • Other nuts to try: macadamia, pecans, walnuts and peanuts
